Stockport County will host Preston North End in a pre-season friendly at Edgeley Park on August 1st. The match will serve as Ben Hinchliffe's testimonial. Ben Hinchliffe, a veteran goalkeeper, came through the youth ranks with his hometown club Preston North End and signed professional terms at Deepdale in 2006. Although never making a first-team appearance, he has spent a decade with Stockport County, featuring 427 times and helping the club rise from the National League North by playing a key role in three promotions. Tickets for the match are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for concessions and will be available in due course.
